About Managing Pain After Laparoscopic Surgery (M-PALS)
Project Information
This website is part of M-PALS (Managing Pain After Laparoscopic Surgery), a collaborative between the University of Minnesota, University of California San Francisco, and Food and Drug Administration to improve pain management after laparoscopic surgery with evidence-based guidelines. We are working to develop, share, and evaluate a set of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for managing pain after abdominal laparoscopic surgery to minimize opioid use while ensuring effective pain relief.
You can learn more about the project through the University of Minnesota website.
